our stay in andalsnes was fantastic! the hostel had a cozy homely vibe with comfy beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and a wonderful sauna. the showers were spacious with great water pressure. the staff was efficient and even accommodated our late check-in. we loved the location with stunning views of the fjord and easy access to beautiful hikes.

The location is beautiful and conveniently close to supermarkets, but just be aware that it's a 25-minute walk from the central town and station.

Loved biking and hiking around, and having access to a private beach was such a treat. The shared lounge and garden were great for relaxation. Free wifi was a bonus!

Oh, and who doesn't love a sauna? But I really missed not having a personal butler to serve me cocktails by the beach.

The small kitchen and sitting area with TV were perfect for relaxing after a long day. The sauna was a big plus. The shared kitchen was a nice spot for exploring the area. The traditional Norwegian farmhouse was charming and well-kept.
